The Capricorn Coast has many dog friendly beaches including:
- Farnborough Beach (North of SLSC)
- Yeppoon from Bangalee boat ramp south to Barwells Creek
- Fisherman’s Beach, Emu Park
All beaches are “leash free” before 8am and after 4pm daily unless otherwise signposted. At all other times your dog must be on a leash. For further information refer to the Livingstone Shire Council website.

Take your pooch to Great Keppel Island! You don’t have to miss out on visiting the beautiful Great Keppel Island because you have to stay behind and mind your dog. Freedom Fast Cats and Keppel Konnections allow dogs on the ferry transfers (not on cruises).
